The pagoda is a piece of typical evidence that integrates Chinese culture and a landmark building that condenses the wisdom of ancient Chinese craftsmen.
The Great Wild Goose Pagodais a pavilion-style brick pagoda with a height of 64.5 meters, consisting of seven layers and shaped like a square pyramid. The bays are constructed of wood-like structures, and decrease progressively in proportion from bottom to top. Wooden ladders are in-built into the pagoda so that the top can be reached. Arch doors open on all four sides of each layer and the ancient city of Xi’an can be observed.
