China-EU Tourism Year Cooperation Agreement Signed

At noon, June 2, local time, following the 19th China-EU Summit in Brussels, Chinese premier Li Keqiang joined European Council president Donald Tusk and European Commission president Jean-Claude Juncker at the signing ceremony of the Agreement between China National Tourism Administration and the DG Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs (Grow) on Hosting the China-EU Tourism Year 2018. The agreement was inked by CNTA chairman Li Jinzao and Lowri Evans, director-general of DG-Grow.
The agreement is aimed to promote and expand people-to-people exchange within the tourism year framework. Accordingly, both sides will host a number of tourism activities and strengthen tourism cooperation to create a better travel experience for Chinese and European visitors, enhance cultural understanding and market tourism products.
