As the spring breeze sweeps through Yangzhou, the magnolias in He Garden are already in full bloom.
He Garden is a century-old classical garden in Yangzhou. Beside the Waterside Pavilion, six century-old magnolia trees are at the height of their flowering season. Their pure white petals resemble waves of snow and clouds, with large blossoms covering the branches. When the wind passes through, petals drift gently down, complementing the koi in the pond and the dark-tiled, upturned eaves, sketching a vivid and uniquely Jiangnan spring scene.
Within the garden, lattice windows frame the silhouettes of blossoms, while sweeping eaves set off their graceful forms. The elegance of the century-old garden blends seamlessly with the fragrance of spring, fully expressing the charm of traditional Eastern garden aesthetics.
If you find yourself in Yangzhou, be sure to step into this garden and, among the blossoms and historic architecture, immerse yourself in the romantic springtime that belongs to Jiangnan.
