Labagou Virgin Forest Park is located in Labagoumen Manchu Township, Huairou District, Beijing, at an average elevation of 700 to 1,700 meters. Here, rugged peaks and deep valleys meet vast, lush forests, offering fresh air and breathtaking scenery.

The park comprises three main scenic areas — the Birch Forest, Baizhang Cliff, and Glacier Viewing Areas— covering a total area of 45 square kilometers, with forest coverage exceeding 90%. Home to 677 plant species and over 300 animal species, it features 60 kilometers of eco-friendly hiking trails. Visitors will find extensive groves of white birch, purple birch (Betula davurica), alpine rhododendron, Dahurian larch, and natural secondary oak forests, interspersed with precious tree species such as Amur linden and Amur cork tree.

The park's landscape is defined by pristine woodlands, rich biodiversity, dramatic rock formations and cultural heritage sites. In spring, the mountains blaze with rhododendron blooms; summer brings cool breezes through the high-altitude forests; and autumn unveils a spectacular palette of fall foliage.

Baizhang Cliff: Characterized by expansive stands of old-growth oak trees.

Nanhouling Viewing Area: Dominated by a 5-square-kilometer primeval white birch forest—a sea of green in summer and a riot of color in autumn.

Glacier Viewing Area: Showcases vast alpine rhododendron groves alongside purple and white birch forests.
