From Jan. 30–31, the "Happy Chinese New Year" China Chic Concert was held at the Sheikh Zayed Festival in Abu Dhabi, UAE, celebrating the Year of the Horse. The program presented classic Chinese folk compositions and showcased inventive fusions of traditional instruments with modern electronic sounds. Selections such as "Dance of the Golden Snake," "Horse Racing," and "Great Tang Dynasty" highlighted the depth of China's musical heritage, while a contemporary adaptation of "The New Ambush from All Sides" demonstrated modern reinvention of traditional timbres. A medley spanning diverse styles further energized the audience with vibrant appeal.
