Spring Rolls are a typical food in Guiyang. They are handmade palm-sized tortilla rolls filled with seasonal vegetables such as bean sprouts, cucumbers and carrots with some fried beans added, and a teaspoon of chili paste dipping sauce. After it is prepared, you can force the food into your mouth chewing.

The shape of Spring Rolls in Sour Soup when rolled up looks like a baby in swaddling clothes, so people gave it the vivid name - “Siwawa” which means “little baby”. Local people (especially women) really love eating it.
