The Benxi Water Cave Scenic Area integrates the mountain, water, cave, spring, lake, and a cultural site of ancient people. The water cave was formed millions of years ago and is the longest water-filled karst cave that has ever been discovered in the world. The 3,000 meters underground river that has been opened so far is crystal clear and flows throughout the year.

Upon entering the cave, there is a big hall that can accommodate more than 1,000 people. Most of the stalactites have developed in groups along the crevices on the roof and rock wall. They are completely natural and take various forms, making you feel as if you were in the Dragon King’s palace or another world. The geological museum exhibits geological relics and precious specimens. In addition, the Benxi Water Cave is an ancient human site. Some cultural relics are on display in the Cultural Relics Exhibition Room on the right of the Water Cave Tourist Center.
