FinishThe Oriental Pearl Radio & TV Tower is the landmark of Shanghai. The tower is 467.9 meters high and composed of a series of 11 spheres of different sizes. There is a rotating restaurant, the Shanghai Municipal History Museum, and Space City at this tourist site. From the three main spheres located at different heights, visitors can enjoy Shanghai’s scenery on both sides of the Huangpu River. In particular, when standing on the 259-meter-high transparent sightseeing corridor, visitors can walk around as if they were “walking on air” and take in a panorama of the entire city. Ascending the sightseeing floor during the evenings and enjoying the splendor of this “city that never sleeps” is also a stunning experience that you should not miss.
When visiting the Oriental Pearl Radio & TV Tower, take your time to fully enjoy the grand spectacle of both banks of the Huangpu River. When it is warm and sunny, remember to look into the distance, where you will be greeted by the sights of Sheshan Hill and Chongming Island.
