Scenic areas of Baodu Village are centrally on the platform on the top of the village. These include the Heavenly Southern Gate (the biggest peak door in China), Imperial Palace of the Daoist Temple, the Hall of Five Hundred Arhats (the biggest underground stone carving on the peak), the Dragon Sculpture Wall (the first dragon wall in China), the Cowherd and the Weaving Maid house (the birthplace of the legend of the Cowherd and the Weaving Maid), Heaven Lake, Paradise Street, Great Wall Around the Mountain, and other Scenic Areas.

With its special styles, Baodu Village is located among mountains and many natural wonders are formed here. Due to the steepness of the mountains, only the north-south mountain road can take visitors to the peak. When visitors climb the mountain, different scenery and shadows can be enjoyed; if visitors choose to take cable car, they can look down at interesting view from the top.
