Xibaipo is located in Pingshan County, 90 km away from Shijiazhuang. It is one of famous five sacred places of the revolution. Xibaipo was the locus of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. The Liaoxi-Shenyang Campaign, Huai-Hai Campaign, and Peiping-Tientsin campaign commanded by the Party Central Committee and Chairman Mao which liberated the whole country were broken out here. Therefore, Xibaipo has the reputation of “New China came from here” and “Fate of China was determined here.”

The main Scenic Areas in Xibaipo include the Site of the CPC Central Committee, Xibaipo Museum, Xibaipo Stone Park, Xibaipo Monument, Five Leaders’ Bronze Statues, the Xibaipo Youth Civilization Garden, and the National Security Education Gallery. At present, it has become a national key Scenic Areas.
