Ningxia

Ningxia, officially the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region (NHAR), is one of five ethnic autonomous regions.

Ningxia is a geologically diverse area where mountains, plateaus, plains, hills, deserts and river valleys can all be found. Rolling Helan Mountain, "Green Pearl" of the Loess Plateau Liupan Mountain, world-renowned Shapotou, picturesque Laolongtan, the roaring Yellow River, Shahu Lake, known as a "Golden Destination" for ecological tours, and many other sites make up the splendid natural landscape of Ningxia. With beautiful natural scenery, rich historical relics and strong folk culture, Ningxia is one of the most charming locations in China.
