Xinjiang

Xinjiang, officially the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the northwest and is one of five ethnic autonomous regions in the country. It is the largest Chinese administrative division. Urumqi is its capital.

The most well-known route along the historical Silk Road ran through this territory, making it a famous tourist destination internationally. Tourists from home and abroad flock to Xinjiang to walk the hallowed Jiaohe Ruins, Gaochang Ancient Ruins, Loulan Ruins and other cultural sites; savor delicious pilaf, shashlik, raisins and hami melon; take in the breathtaking beauty of colorful Kanas, lavender-covered Ili as well as glistening Bosten Lake and Tianchi. Experience Xinjiang, a land of magic.
