Fuzhou

Fuzhou, also known as Banyan City, is Fujian's capital and a core city in the Western Taiwan Straits Economic Zone.

Fuzhou has a typical ancient city layout: the Minjiang River traverses the downtown area, with three mountains (Mount Wu, Mount Yu, and Mount Ping) towering aloft, forming a unique landscape of "Intertwined City and Mountains". Fuzhou is known as "Banyan City" because of the banyan trees planted all over the city over 900 years ago.

Attractions like the Three Lanes and Seven Alleys and Fuzhou National Forest Park make it a charming destination.

Fuzhou is one of China's Top Three Cities for Hot Springs, featuring large coverage, a high volume of water, high temperatures and good quality.
