Changchun

Changchun, Jilin's capital city at sub-provincial level, plays multiple roles: a central city in Northeast China, a key industrial base, a regional hub for Northeast Asia, and a core of the Harbin-Changchun metropolitan area.

You can touch the history in every corner of this ancient city. Major attractions and stores for shopping are concentrated in Chaoyang District, Kuancheng District, and Nanguan District within the Fourth Ring Road. Heading northward from South Lake, the largest expanse of water in Changchun, you can visit the Eight Ministries of Manchukuo, Geological Museum, Bo Re Temple, and the Imperial Palace of the Manchu State one after the other. Changchun North Railway Station, close to the Imperial Palace of the Manchu State, is a key node for railway and transit transportation.
